When Bill Roberts launched the JET brand in Rotherham, Yorkshire (England) in 1953, he was fascinated by the rapid change that could be observed around him.
The emerging motorization of the masses and the associated possibilities of mobility exerted a great fascination on him. The opportunities that lie in mobility, he said to himself, could be even greater if not only automobiles become cheaper, but also the fuel they need.
